Total Air War 2.22 has been released in order to fill the gap made by the apparent demise of the Jonesoft website (the developer of Generic Mod Enabler, which is used for much of the modding functionality within TAW 2.0).  GME is now included with the 2.22 patch, and download links point to a file server until such time as the Jonesoft website comes back...

Okay, I've got clearence for a TOP SECRET mission..

Take-Off is now such a routine, that it's over before I even realize. I steady my grip on throttle and joystick, and mentally go through the briefing in my head..

With a new hardware suite, my gaming and development rig is back online.   As such, I have been able to pursue development of some of the  features promised in my last post.   In particular, with a minor exception we now have a full alphabet and  numeral set from which to pull tail flashes.  This means the addition of  many more tail flashes, as well as...

Posted by Home Fries , in Upcoming Features 05 May 2011 - - - - - - · 454 views

I realize that it's been a while since I teased you all with the pics of the upcoming skins.  Well, things since then have been busy and unexpected.

Posted by Home Fries , in Upcoming Features 04 March 2011 - - - - - - · 684 views

It has been a while since any improvements have been made to TAW 2.16.  This is partially because not much needed to be improved (i.e. no bugs stood out), and partially because real life was demanding adherence to its own schedule.  Go figure that now that I am getting busy with real life again, I have actually found time for some updates.

First, for the...
