Fatherhood -- It's a Different Life

Already, I can see my perceptions and reactions changing.

Last night, Jen said the baby wasn't kicking very much.  All of a sudden, I was hit with this wall of worry.  A good friend of mine lost their child in the eighth month when the umbilical cord wrapped around the baby's throat.  It was stillborn.

Believing in Grand Prix Legends

Bloody hell, the best I could manage last night in my Eagle was a 1:33.10 at Monza.

And I was using one of Alison Hine's setups, too.

Man, am I huffing.  A year, maybe more, away from Grand Prix Legends and I'm a sodding tosser.  I mean, I used to turn 1:32s in a Cooper -- a Cooper!

The Ferrari of Baby Strollers

Yep, we're gearing up.  This weekend we bought a stroller, a car seat, and inherited a bassinet.   All of which had to be assembled.  

Baby products are big on components that bend and snap into place, accompanied  by downright hieroglyphic assembly instructions.  The boys at Bletchly Park couldn't figure out these cryptic diagrams.
