You have some talent there! I used to skin the F4U Corsair in Il2: Pacific Fighters/1946 and I still do a little work in MS FS9 and FSX.

Didn't get quite what I hoped for this one

Yes, I'm having problems with understanding what the artist was trying to say there. ;)

Interesting stuff. Keep it up.

I dunno, depending upon who you ask, that might be a good representation of my formation flying skills. :sofa1:

Well if you were a fan of Ace Combat series you could see that the plane with the blue and white star roundel is getting attacked by the infamous Silber team, Tiger stripes and Belkan roundel

Rad,

I was thinking about it some more, and I'm of the opinion that you should create an Ace Combat series of missions and/or campaigns for SF2. You could use the existing theaters (no need to add 3D objects AFAIK) and aircraft, and just add the nations and squadrons to their respective ini files. Then just use the skins you've already done (though a dynamic campaign would necessitate all the same skin for a squadron). If you didn't want to interfere with a purist's existing install, then you could create your own ini files and require a separate install (which in SF2 is easier than it sounds).

But I don't think I'm actually that good at skinning, so far the planes that I chose to skin were because they were fairly easy, jets like F-16 look tough

We all start somewhere, Rad.

Which software are you using to skin? If you're not using something like PSP or Photoshop Elements, I can see where the pain is coming from.

If you are using software with layers and transparencies, make sure you get a template. Many templates can be found on CA, and will make your skinning life much easier with higher quality output.
