RIP, Alex. You did your bit, and some! Stand easy.
-
Attaboy, Doug! I admire a man who's so lazy that he can't move his cursor! Soon you'll graduate to being unable to lift your arm to pour the beer down. Well, maybe not that.
-
League of Nations, United Nations, what's not to like? And we still pour money into that US-hating Assembly! There, I've ruined my day already!
-
As long as he was in no pain, CJ, I can think of no better way to go! Be happy for him, and celebrate his life, giving thanks to God for the many years you enjoyed his company. Some day, God willing, you and he will laugh together.

I think the 49ers are looking like a Playoffs team these days, under coach Jim Harbaugh. Shades of Bill Walsh! And, yeah, that was a real bummer about Dan Weldon. By all accounts a very genial guy and well-liked. Prayers for his family of wife and two boys. Thay never said Indy racing was a safe sport, did they?
-
HBD, Mane! Where the hell are you these days, anyway? The Feds catch up with you again?
-
Took a look at some of the videos, Joker, but it's too cartoonish for my dollar. Reminds me of a board game with cute remarks from an onlooker! Nope, I don't think so. Have fun, though.
-
That P-38 was a B-25, but, yes, it does indeed. Damn good piloting, even if it is a video game.
-
When I saw this, I thought of you, Stans!
-
Yep, me too! Nothing like Oshkosh for plane buffs. I found all those other video links fascinating too Donnie. One about the Harrier and also the Seafire. Thanks!
-
Yeah, but not soon enough to suit me!
-
Yeah, TCat, I hate those yellow shoes! Almost as much as the brown pants! But the colors go together, that's one way of looking at it.
-
Good one, Stans! I thought that was going to happen, LOL!
-
That's hilarious! I'll have to watch tonites News 10 and see if they cover it.
-
49ers 48/Bucs 3! What can I say. Playoffs here we come!
-
Morning all. Except DH, who is beneath contempt for such awful so-called jokes! It may be time to put out a fatwa on him. Beautiful day here, in the high 70s, no wind and no cloud etc. Off to church, then watch the 49ers whack the hell out of the Bucs. Sorry about that, Gunny!
-
That's way too young to go, but you left a heck of a legacy, Steve! RIP, and thank you.
-
Well, we all know that stuff happens at my age, but, Donnie notwithstanding, thank God all my plumbing etc works just as He intended! So, I can make jokes but I give thanks that all my clean living in past years is now bearing fruit! Now, if only my brain could say that!
-
It does? Not around here!
-
Keep your fingers crossed it even gets to enter Indy, though. These things have looked good before, remember the six-wheeled Tyrell back in the day?
-
My cup runneth over! The 49ers WON again yesterday against the Eagles. Sure, it was only by one point, but a win's a win, right? Damn, if they keep this up they might even get to the playoffs! WOOHOO!
-
Sure different from the 67s, isn't it? http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2011/10/01/radical-american-racing-car-unveiled/?test=faces

That's a wonderful post, Tommy! It shows many things. Your feelings of compassion for your cousin, and the regret you have for not contacting Warren sooner. But God looks at our heart, not our lack of action, and I'm sure both He and Warren know what your heart intent was. You have nothing to berate yourself for. Many of us leave the actions too late because of our busy lives. "Oh, I'll call him tomorrow" we say, but tomorrow never comes, so we all are guilty in that. Which reminds me, my oldest friend is in dementia, and I said I'd call him every weekend, but missed last week. Thanks for the reminder, Tommy. God bless.
