  1. I'm not sure what causes the D3D graphics artifact, but I actually get better performance on my laptop (geforce go 7150) with the Glide wrapper than with D3D anyway. With a 9500 you should be able to run dgvoodoo using the D3D9 renderer, which will keep things faster once there are a lot of objects on the screen. The best way to quickly test this is to load up the landing training mission and see what kind of frames you get when you can see the city just before the runway. I just don't recommend forcing resolution beyond 800x600; upconverting resolution makes a lot of work for your graphics card.

    Alternatively, you can try nGlide, which is a new wrapper that works with TAW. There are still a couple of rough edges, but it is a very efficient performer that looks really good.

    Well, in fact i used dgvodoo at 1280x800, anyway i manged to get good fps with zeckensack at 1024x768, thanks.
