Good morning......still sick with the rotten cold
Had a bit of a winter storm here 50cm of snow with 1110+ kph winds made it "messy" to say the least. In the middle of all that Murphy's Law kicked in and there was a major fault at one of largest power substations in the area..That put over 100,000 folks in the dark ( self included ) and the repair crews had difficulty reaching the site because of the storm....so the power was out for about 16 hours.... Everything is pretty much back to normal now ...except for this stupid cold/flu -
Pilot is OK and I expect the plane can be fixed.......so the outcome is not too bad
-
breeze is getting up out of the north...about 60kph now and expected to get up to 90-100kph with gusts to 120+...snow expected to start anytime now with 30-50cm today and 15-30 tomorrow. Got gas for the snow blower and lots to eat & drink....gonna be a "lively" evening.

It's funny ( in an ironic sort of way )...you guys need to move to Canada...we have lots of ammo

-
nice day today...supposed to get a bit of a storm tomorrow. 40-50cm of snow and 70-80kph winds..could be a bit nasty.

Patti Page the singin' rage
she a favourite of my cousin who now lives in Ohio but who lived next door when she was a teenager in the 1950's.....as a small boy she used me as a dance practice partner to all that old great music......I didn't much like the dancing part....but she always gave me a dime or a quarter afterwards and that was great

I think it's fantastic that they have got this far. There's a flying Lanc in Ontario and of course the one in the BoB Memorial flight. AFAIK there's one more that can be taxied somewhere in the UK and several in static displays. Another one flying would be awsome.

Glad Lottie is home safe. Light snow and -4 today.

good morining all. Decent winter day here clam with snow flurries and -4
It's funny how the news gets interpreted by different sources. Up here your government's deal is being spun as stopping a big tax increase not imposing one ??

Good Morning friends ........typical winter day for these parts. Dull grey ky, temp just below freezing and damp gale from the NE. Hope you all enjoyed the new year's celebration and that your first footer brought good luck .
