AS an interesting sidenote to the battle. The HMS Warspite recovered one of her Swordfish spotter planes while steaming at full speed. The pilot landed near the dreadnought and taxied alongside matching her speed and fighting the gigantic wash put up by teh ship. The crew swung out the derrick and hooked on to teh sword fish and plucked it from the water. The estimated speed at the time was close to 20 knts.

Beautiful sunny day here. Went to sunrise service at 0530, then for regular service at 1100. Having family ( inlaws, outlaws etc ) over for supper. Will probably go to bed at 2000

No.105 & 32 Squadrons vRAF fly Friday and Sunday evenings at about 20:00 NA Central (GMT -6:00) We hook up on our Teamspeak server. VMF124 flys Saturdays ( not sure what time, but I'm sure one of the guys will chime in.) If you just want to fly dogfights the place to go is Hyperlobby. Post again if you are interested
