Ah but what I'm more concerned about is the looping during MP, in TS3 before firing up TAW everything is fine, but once in TAW and into a mission sometimes TS3 freezes, its like the last thing you said to me is been repeated over and over and over and over again in a loop and thats all you can hear!...you can't hear anything that is currently been spoken?, but if i click out of TAW or just pause the game the looping stops?, i was hoping USB might fix that too?

Yes that what i thought!.....it bypasses the sound card or something i think?, glad you agree.

I'm going back to the store with a list the size of a roll of bog-roll.....I just wish I was confident to build it myself.....but I'm not!
.....I'm taking all this in and hopefully I'll come back from the store with what I want?...I think BMS 4.32 and TAW 2.0 and lets not forget good old EF2000 will keep me occupied for a long time, so as long as i can run them well, then thats all i need, thanks for your help on this.
, because I ain't clued up on the latest new gear.

Well I'm not sure my problem is bandwidth because i think Wombat has a lower upload than me and i don't think he's ever had this problem?, here's my speed test from Northeast England to Los Angeles, CA!, ..got new USB headset now so I'll see how it goes with them?
Northeast England - Los Angeles CA:

Notheast England - London England:

.....then again...could be bandwidth?

IF bandwidth issues are causing problems (frigging mind warping voice loops
) one solution could be to lower the codec and bandwidth quality of the channel when creating it? -
MP mission "Operation Blackout" completed successfully by Neph (Lead), Wombat (Number 2), Eagle (Number 3 and Element Lead) and Redfalcon (Number 4). All done with a single refuel and re-arm; followed by a safe return to home base upon completion. I think if our number 2 had been a little more skillful with his A-G it might not have been necessary to return to home base for that re-arm. With the greatest respect for all who took part, Neph's leadership deserves special commendation. Well done pilots. Signed Mayor General Battie.
Without doubt Neph was the nail that held it all together, Eagle too....they both kept comms open with me with message FREQ (5) when my teamspeak went down, still managing to get clear info through to me!
, but alas my GBU delivery was poor and i waisted two good weapons on plain sand, but lucky for me Eagle was close by to finish the job, ...great fun

, how the hell you take all them pic's?, i can only manage to do one per mission, 2 if i'm lucky, the dark moody sky looks real good
, glad you had mission success but i'd expect no less from you!

TS3 Bandwidth
in F22: ADF / TAW
Posted
Ah!!...I've tracked down the source of this problem...its CPU related, I managed to recreate the looping sound with just the 'Testing your playback sound system' running in TS3 and TAW running in high rez glide that my CPU can't handle, when i did that the looping started!....and no multiplay connection in operation, so bandwidth not the problem, its the CPU unable to cope with the high load of TAW and Teamspeak, so now i just need to lower CPU use to minimum by running TAW in low rez and nostalgia mode, but probably will still get some looping from time to time till i upgrade....once i upgrade everything should be fine!!.
