Let's pick this apart. I see: Incorrect paint scheme for a F4U-1C or D, the tri-color scheme was replaced by overall glossy sea blue in March of 1944, the first -1D was accepted by the Navy on April 22, 1944, the -1C was produced in small runs along with the -1D so no production -1C's or D's were painted in this scheme. Incorrect insignia, the red surround was used only from February 1943 to September 1943. The insignia under the port wing is totally wrong, the star should be contained completely within the blue disc and this style and position was discontinued in February 1943. Floating HVAR's and the spacing between the rockets is incorrect for the -1C, -1D and -4. The bomb loadout represents a maximum load! Don't know if any -1C's or -1D's were ever so heavily laden in combat. Am I getting grouchy in my old age or what?

Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with GraphSim. Did you pay for the merchandise with your credit card? If so, contact your credit card company and tell them what has happened. It is easy enough for them to credit your account if GraphSim has debited your account. If you paid by check or money order and sent it via U.S. Mail, then you can contact the post office and obtain a complaint form. The complaint form is the first step in a mail fraud prosecution. By the way, mail fraud, no matter how small the amount of money, is a Federal crime and I think it carries a five year prison sentence and a hefty fine. Companies do not like mail fraud charges. I went down this road with an eBay auction. I payed by mail, the seller never sent the item. He gave every excuse in the book and then stoped responding to my emails. He responded in less than 24 hours when I e-mailed him and told him I had obtained the complaint form from the post office and was filling it out! So you do have a couple of options if you get shafted. GraphSim used to put out some good stuff. You really can't blame them for Precision Strike Fighter or Operation Iraqi Freedom, Infogrames bought the code for Hornet Korea and made these "new" versions. Hornet Korea was really good in its day and it still lives on my hard drive.
