Morning y'all, 62F and mostly cloudy to start the day, expecting a cloudy day and 73F for a high. Watched UVA almost deliver an upset win to Notre Dame yesterday, but a long-bomb pass to the end zone with 47 seconds on the clock put an end to UVA's 2 point lead. Good racing last night at Richmond! The rains ended, the track dried and the race started just a little later than scheduled.

I just looked at my profile, 2001 was during the time that CSim was a pay site, I think I was still hanging out with Donnie over at FlightSim because my budget simply had no room for pay sites. Sadly, my budget still does not allow such luxuries.

Thunderstorms approaching from the southwest, getting much closer now, a gentle rain has started, the temperature has risen from 69F to 70F. 50% chance of thunderstorms early this morning, then partial clearing and a high of 77F, then a 50% chance of more storms from around 1400 hours to midnight. We'll see if NASCAR can get the Sprint Cup Series race in tonight, or if it will be a Sunday afternoon race.

~yawn~ Hmmm... morning? Oh, yes, it's still morning here. Stayed up late to watch the NASCAR Southern 500 last night. Really good race, but it's always good racing at Darlington, NASCAR's very first super speedway track. Let's see... it's already 70F under partly cloudy skies. The weather shaman says it will be a partly cloudy day and 89F and that highs around 90F will now extend through Thursday of this week, so I guess that means that summer has been held over. That's about it, off to Babe Bunker to leer peer peek through the windows. Oh, yeah, happy Labor Day! Time for more coffee.

Morning y'all, a new day and a new weather forecast. Not going to have a cool and wet Labor Day weekend now. Nope, we start this morning partly cloudy and 71F after the thunderstorms of yesterday. Today we will see cloudy conditions and 85F, only a 20% of scattered showers.
