Although the CDC has dropped mask recommendations for the fully vaccinated, the commandant of the People's Communistwealth of Virginia, along with the commandants of New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina, has decided to keep mask requirements in effect. He said he would consider the CDC's findings and recommendations. When the CDC recommended vaccinations of adolescents, within an hour of the announcement he recommended Virginia follow that policy, but on restrictions he may keep them in place until June 15. So, no party for me.

Morning y'all, overcast skies, 64F, and 61% humidity. The guesscast calls for overcast skies this morning and a 50% chance of showers from 10 AM to noon. We really need rain and a passing shower is not likely to be enough. Mostly to partly cloudy skies this afternoon and a high of 67F. Tonight, partly cloudy skies and a low of 47F. New computer continues to operate smoothly after replacing the power supply.

Yeah... what the... I feel weird, like I have no direction in my life. Oh, wait, that's actually normal for me!
So I removed the EVGA 750 watt GR Series PSU that came with this Newegg computer and crammed in the older, but known to work well during the last 3 months of my old computer's life, Antec PSU, which is only 900 watts and I was thinking it was 1000, but still gross overkill for this system. Put everything back together, no left over fasteners, plugging everything in and pressed the power button.
It.... is..... alive!
Noticed a light gray residue on the EVGA PSU at one of the VGA sockets that was in use. Maybe this 750 Watt PSU was not actually up to the task of powering an EVGA RTX 3070 video card.

Morning. Banging this message out on my smartphone. 17 day old ABS (Newegg’s in house builder) refused to boot this morning. It was a great computer while it lasted. Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA water cooling, power supply and 3070 FTW3 video card on an Asus motherboard.
This morning, the RGB indicator shows power, but a press of the on button yields a split second of power to all the components, then nothing else. Tried reseting the computer, PSU, and UPS, but to no avail.
Newegg wanted a review, they got one as in one egg. I spent two weeks installing my suite of programs that allow me to customize FSX (Steam Edition this time). I think I am done with flight sims and computers in general.

Our day begins with clear skies, sunshine, a temperature of 8C and 87% relative humidity. The Emperor has graced us with about 6mm of rainfall late yesterday. Today we will have sunshine this morning and a partly cloudy afternoon. Today's high temperature will be a perfect 21C. Tonight we will see mostly clear skies and a low of 4C.

Afternoon y'all, mostly overcast skies so far, currently 69F. Forecast says we will have a mostly cloudy to full overcast day, rain to the west will not make it this far east. Today's high temperature is expected to be a comfortable 74F. Tonight, partial clearing and a low of 50F. The 10 day forecast does not look particularly good. The soil is already very dry, plants and grass are already looking a little stressed and there is no significant rain in the 10 day forecast and beginning Tuesday, temperatures will range from 80F to the low, maybe mid-90's.
