I knew there was something I was forgetting about. It just hit me. My Birthday Babe.
I went out and got myself the 2-disc set of the ole "Battle of Britain" flick and the 4-disc set of "Kingdom of Heaven" that I think was the best done sword and sandal type movies that have come out since Gladiator.

Cool lesson in basic chemistry. Acid (Coke) + base/alkaline (Mentos) = salt + water + energy.
Both Coke and Mentos are pretty lightweight. As a kid I used vinegar and baking soda to propel model boats and torpedoes, but the action was a little too vigourous sometimes.
Use baterry acid (hydrochloric) and lye (sodium hydroxide) and those guys would need to be wearing kevlar.
