Good morn all. Beautiful wintery day.
-
Good morning. Darn near spring like, albeit a tad cool at 4C/40F.
-
Ah yes geg has a GF named Jennifer. This Jennifer, a.k.a. Dancer was one heck of a 109 jock and CO of a Romanian virtual squad, with Schatten as XO I believe.

Well hello stranger and a big Happy New Year to you and the family.
-
G'mornin all. Only a few mounds of hardpacked snow left as temps stay just above freezing and may even get to 8C/46F over the next few days.
-
Good morning. Bright and sunny albeit a tad cool @ -6C/21F.
-
Wow. I envy you Anthony. Good luck, be safe and enjoy.

I'm kinda missing it. The Sci-Fi station (Space) hasn't played the reruns since spring. But then again I've seen'em all a good handful of times over the last couple of years so a new episode would be kinda nice. Yep Shawn the more I think about it the more I'm sure I'll grab it, likely at Best Buy or something.

Kaylee rocks. Couldn't find the time to see it on the big screen so I'll have to get the DVD.

Good morning and Happy New Year. Good start. The snow is still melting.

Ole Dick Clark is back in the saddle after suffering a stroke. He's been hit hard obviously but he's back . Here we go. Happy New Year!!!

Saw the interview with the parents yesterday. The kid is in deeeeeep doo-doo. The dad seemed to be bewildered but the mom, I think, is gonna kill him. My dad had a cool tradition. When we kids turned 18, the summer immediately following we were given a wad of cash and almost literally booted out the door and told to go far away for at least a week. I went to Washington DC (where I turned 18 two days after arrival). Sue and Kitty both went to Florida. Joe got as far as Halifax. Richard got to the Yucatan and Tommy, well Tommy disappeared way the hell up north somewhere to no surprise to anyone. Apparently this kid had no such arrangement.

Depending on the weather I would guess.
-
ummmm ........ Depends on who you live with I guess.

I'll take the trade. Better walking around in an inch of wool than a rubber suit or tethered with a grounding wire. Bummer when the water freezes though.
-
Actually, I hate this weather. The dampness just soaks through you, with temps a degree or two above or below freezing. I'd take a bone dry day at -25C in Edmonton over this ....... ........ if it weren't for the static electricity.
-
May the coming year be the best ever for you all.
-
Good morning all. Snow is at an equilibrium: melting as fast as it is falling.
-
Already happened once before so beware Cuteness.

Well the North (UK) won. Just like the Am. Civil War. Hmmm....... like Rome fel to the northern barbarians. ..... Macedon over Greece ....... is there a pattern here? Lord Baden Powel thought up the Boy Scouts while fighting in this war.

Good morn. It's about 2C/36F and raining, slowly washing off the snow that's been here since the end of November.

May Ich ask about about the American Civil War?

This is water finding it's own level. The Laws of the Universe can be bent only so far for so long before it snaps back. The longer and harder it is bent the harder it will snap back. -

Oh, maybe a little. Edit : f(t)=a x 1.01^t +b x 1.02^t (b doesn't = 0) would soon then become g(t) = b x 1.02^t Some Machiavelli I am many things. But I try to stay friends with Thomas Payne. Good definition Staying away from the morality issue, technologies, slavery, outsourcing all lead to the same road. Technically they all lead to an intolerant level of concentration of wealth. However, it does not mean that the path can't be broken. An attempt to do this is the rise of socialism in the 19th century. Something like robotics could be made to be a huge tool in human development, but only if it is not concentrated in too few hands.
