S! Quite a guy. Seen a few interviews with him over the years. Funny guy and not hard to understand how he made corporal 9 times and busted back to private 9 times.

S! to the fallen and sympathies to the famillies.

Cool add on for Rome:TW. Haven't had a chance to touch the game in months..

Kinda makes you wonder how soldiers did in the old sword and spear days when you had your enemies blood all over you, and hearing his death moans right in your ear.

Yup, good ole FB+AEP+PF Corsairs with VMF-124. Well, not much lately but as Schatt says ..... I thought Rowan bailed out of the flight sim seen??

Kaylee. me too Then there's Inara. But in the long run, Kaylee is just more fun. She's the only one of the crew that was shown doing the nasty with Mal's 1st engineer. Ya'da thought it woulda been Inara, but nooooo, it was Kaylee.

ummm ..... wow. I think I've seen every tv episode a half dozen times over the last year or so and still don't tire of it. But those trailers ....... wow.

Totally agree Rick.

Geez Taz, hope all is ok there. Frightful things they are. Had 3 in this county so far. A slow year. I witnessed 2 attempt to form just a few weeks ago. I've seen 3 in my life and almost another, the big F5 that hit Edmonton about 20 years ago. Killed 37 and injured hundreds. The fricken monster was a kilometre across at the ground. Video showed up to a dozen tornadoettes swirling inside. 2 twisters hit that day. The other was an F2 that didn't do much. Twisters require 3 things. Cold mass of air aloft, warm air below that and a steady surface breeze. It's the last bit that usually fowls them up. It's as flat as a pool table here but there are lots of tree lines, cities and towns that cause the wind to go turbulent and mess things up. Most end up forming on the lake (Erie) as water spouts, which are small and week and short lived as the air is too heavy with water. What we get alot of here are micro-bursts, still-born tornadoes. Winds at 200 kph+ coming down almost vertical. They are even shorter duration so it's path of destruction is less than a full twister. But we sure get alot of them and they make quite a mess. In Canada we get about 80 tornadoes a year, a bad afternoon in Kansas I know. About a quarter of them hit hit S.W. Ontario and a quarter of them hit Essex county. I guess oe hit near Winnipeg a few days ago.

Day by day Shawn, one foot before the next. It's a biatch when life brings you down to that level, but that's what it sounds like you need to do for a bit. You are of strong charactor, and from the little I know, so is Kim. You'll break through. Relax, breath and push through. We're all behind you.

I was going to mention it here when I saw it a few months back but never got to it. The 1st part the prospective pilots took basic training in the Tiger Moth. In the end the guy I hoped to win did. Actually you saw very little of any of them. It was mostly about the Spit itself during the BoB days with lots of stuff like radar, air controllers etc that supported their actions. Yes, top drawer stuff.

Monthly. Another strange thing when I enter CSim. When I click on Ready Room for instance, it starts to access then quits with "Done". It takes several tries for it to kick in.

Got pulled away from this project. Back at it soon. However, I'm now beginning to suspect it may not be the game, but my pc, maybe even my mouse as odd things have been happening.

My coldest day was -46c/-51f in Edmonton. Luckily it was a dead calm day. With "windchill" I went thru a -67c/-89f day. Conversely, my hottest day was 44c/111f in my hometown of Windsor Ontario, which holds the Canadian hot day record of 52.7c/126.9f. Winnipeg is probably one of the toughest places to be as they regularily get extreme cold winters and hotter than hell summers. It's that continental climate thing.

ROFLMAO!!! -3.5 (C?) in winter. If it was that in the dead of winter here I'd be in my burmuda shorts and sleeveless shirt. :crocodiledundeevoiceon: -3.5 ain't a winter. -35, now that's a winter :crocodiledundeevoiceoff

I was just about to do just that.

Seems fine Lee. Which is why I haven't even thought of drivers. Don't fix it if it ain't broke eh. However, haven't checked, but I think I'm still using 48.xx or 52.xx for my nVidia GF4 Ti-4600 with 128Mb. The latest is what, 77.xx or something, so now I'm wondering.

3 y/o now. The GF-4 is about a year old. My sys is a P4 2.4 GH with 1 Gb RAM. Hope not a HD failure. Already had one of those. Rome:Total War and SH3 run with no prob, but then again, they aren't as resource intense.

One thing I really find refreshing about Firefly & BG is: no transporters. The computer memory storage capacity and speed makes the endeavour impractical, even if theoretically possible. no time travel or interaction with a parallel universe. That's a big discussion but even with the current super-string or M-theory, I'm saying not happening. no-one disintegrating after a full power "phaser" hit (the energy release from a vapourized body would take out Newfoundland).
