In my Corsair skinning for IL2, I'm always disappointed when I have to convert my detailed skins from 2048x2048 resolution down to 1024x1024. They lose so much fidelity and small things like stenciling go from being semi-readable to nothing more than a smudge and fine oil streaks become a faint smear. Oh, if only we could have 2048x2048 skins in IL2. Just today, someone put out a tusky theme for the Warthog; And just last week, a loser in the 2nd generation of stealth was found to be a winner in simulation mode; A couple of winners in the background, but mum's the word...
