There are very few nations that actually pay their war debts.

Newfoundland was the ONLY country ( yes we were a country then) to pay off its WW 1 debts. It pretty much bankrupted us.

Hmmm... now did the Soviets ever repair their debts? I think they still owe something like $600 million and that's actually a reduced amount.

The Brits had their debt reduced in 1955, but they did pay what was asked, so good for them!

Hey if the Brits really want it we could swap them back Massachusetts...I have no problem with that and that should cover the bills from both the Revolution and 1812. The only condition is they have to keep every person there with a last name that starts with K in the new Dominion at all, and I repeat all times.

I dunno, maybe we should simply give them the Northeast area, with the stipulation that a huge wall be built to keep the inhabitants contained. Granted, it would be a shame to lose Maine and Vermont, but were only talking about 14 people there. The loss of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and I think we should throw in New Jersey as well, might be a good loss.
