Stans
WOW!!!! They used 1/4 of their naval fleet for that practice invasion! Looks like it was a raging success of an invasion too! See how fast they were able to establish that beach head and move inland?

Stag
Since when did Canadians use SA80s or wear desert DPM? If I remember right, this was an experiment by the British Army following the resounding success of Royal Marine Boats in the delta around Um Qasr. The Army decided they wanted to play like that, sooo... A Royal Marine officer who observed the proceeedings was heard to say: "I think this proves our point." The Dude
Guess I should change the topic title then. Nah! Oh, and another reason this could never happen to Canadians is that our soldiers would've been wearing their snowshoes
No105_Archie
I new this was going to be bad when I read that the British Army figured it could have a force that was equivalent to the Royal Marines for amphibious landings

Whizkid
Nah! Oh, and another reason this could never happen to Canadians is that our soldiers would've been wearing their snowshoes Now there's an idea! Issue snowshoes to the troops, so that they can attack across swamps and this type of terrain! Why not? It'd confuse the hell out of the enemy who would have ignored the area as impassable. I'm ready to advise the Military, if called upon! OORAH!
