Pretty cool seeing Joey Logano win the Nationwide race last night. Gotta wonder how long until he's as popular with the young girls as Jr. is

Having steak this afternoon. Using the recipe I got from the Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg (the BEST steak I've ever eaten!):

Marinate all night long with pepper, Worstestshire, and Killians Red. Cook on very hot grill. Make sure steak has warmed to room temp before eating (always a must for cooking thick steaks, as cold steaks will get dried out badly cooking them enough to get to proper temp inside the steak).

You've got eating that steak on the brain, bro.

Can't say I blame you, tho ... it sounds delicious. What type of steak are you using? I'm partial to ribeyes.

He's so right about warming steak to room temperature, or at least real close to it, before putting it on the grill.

As for Joey Logano, he is the youngest driver (18years, 21 days old) to win in the Nationwide Series (formerly known as the Busch Series, formerly known as the Busch Grand National Series, formerly known as the Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series, formerly known as the Late Model Sportsman Series, formerly known as the Sportsman Series; wish NASCAR would pick a fricken name and stick the sponsor name onto the end of the name instead of renaming the various leagues every time the sponsor changes).

Joey has tons of potential, maybe even more than Kyle "Rowdy" Bush. I watched him pass Kyle last night, Kyle dropped all the way back to third (I think) before he spun himself out of the race. Yeah, Logano is a name to remember. Tony Stewart wants to be released from his contract with Joe Gibbs, wouldn't surprise me to see Gibbs let Tony go and put Joey in the number 20 Sprint Cup (formerly known as the Nextel Cup Series, formerly known as the Winston Cup Series, formerly known as the Grand National Series, formerly known as the Strictly Stock Series) car.
