Donster Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 It feels like a friggin' Monday all right. Can't sleep. Asphalt crew to arrive this morning to begin road repairs on our street. Up to me to make sure they fix all the potholes, cracks, reseal driveways. I guess it is part of living in a Condo Association. Lottie 'volunteered' my services (she is on the association board). Got the job of finding a contractor for roof/ceiling repairs on four units last month. Supposed to be nice weather today though. 80F, sunny and low humidity. Gunny Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 Day three of the tropical watch and Fay is making her presence somewhat known. Lots of rain since about 0300 but not much wind. Gonna be a fun day as school has been canceled here in a three county area. Jenna is kind of relieved as she was starting "big school" as she has been calling it. So, kids get a break and another day on the summer vacation, I get to spend the day with both kids, but won't be able to do anything cause it'll be raining all day. Nice 351 yard drive down the middle of the fairway, then used a 8 iron for the approach. Just a tad bit of back and to the left spin on the ball before it hit the green and that sucker bounced once, hit the pin and dropped. That gave me a 2 stroke lead that I never gave up the rest of the round. Now if I could only do the same on a real course using real clubs. Red Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 Evening Gents , im about to increase my chance of being struck by lightning , found out today that there is a bully in my sons class ansd he has been affected by it , teachers say they are lookin into it , horseshit i have it on good athority that it has been known for quite some time that the teachers know but because the mum is "trailer trash" they are a bit reluctant to call her out on it. Step in one pissed DAD who don't give a crap about weather or not she can look tough 12 years of martial arts and a bad temper will fix that problem quick smart , making a meeting with the principal on thursday to have this stopped or by god i will call the cops myself , Bullying ain't gonna affect my son not on my watch Here endeth the lesson Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I used to be on the Condo Assoc Board years ago. Finally gave up after two years of dealing with ingrates who bitched constantly, never offered to do anything, and found fault with everything!
