I've been working on some new cockpit goodies (and ignoring that poor F-15) and I wanted to point those interested to a new gimbal design for home built cockpits. The design uses inexpensive off the shelf parts and is freely available to anyone that wants to build one. http://www.geneb.org/pitkit/jentron_mk2/index.html This gimbal design is going into my other project that you can see here: Note that the video is from May and a few things have changed on the cockpit itself - including replacing all the hex head bolts with countersunk flat-head bolts. I watched your video, and the video of that laser cutter on the acrylic. That's a fantastic bit of kit. That acrylic is durable enough for the gimble, huh? Very neat-o.
