Yes, you CAN afford to fly!

I was delighted to learn that for a very small (under $1000) outlay, I can actually fly solo in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world! The instruction would be about three hours, no Government tests or certificates, or licence, and I can store the vehicle in my house or garage! If you're interested, let me know, and we'll book a group rate flight to the Airfield. Take a look and get your Life Insurance paid up.

Good post, Whiz ... I like that: store the vehicle in your garage. Ha!

I'm actually quite terrified by heights in tall buildings and on mountain cliffs. I went to the Grand Canyon about ten years ago and it scared the heck out of me ... and yet, I would love to do wingsuit base jumps off mountains.

Seriously, how intensely cool would that be!? And yeah, there's the whole one-slip-and-you're-jam factor, but if you have half a brain and you know your equipment, it'd be worth the risk. It's when some 'tard decides to let casual couch potatoes do this with rented equipment that things get sketchy.
