Funny how you always think of WWII in black and white and then you see something like this and go; oh yeah, color.

The Beatle was designed by none other than Dr. Ferdinand Porsche. Commissioned by Hitler as transportation for the "folk." Interesting to note that Porsche created a separate company after the war which just last week bought a controling interest in Volkswagon.

Fascinating and creepy at the same time! But where are all the Germans that say they didn't support him? Looks like half of Germany was at some of those Rally pics! But of course it couldn't happen here..............................................

...Could it?

huh?

it already has to some degree....

only the Bamster hasnt quite lived up to "the little corporals" ideology yet...he's surpassed the "national socialist" concept....crusing nicely towards the Lenin Theory of Government...

but I will digress, so this doesnt get moved to Loose Threads.

I found it quite amazing to see these photos in color, becuase it makes it seem like it could have been yesterday just from a blurry cell phone....amazing...

Three thoughts hit me when I was looking at these.

1) Yeah Berlin was pretty before we had to blow it to pieces.

2) The bastards did have a flair for the dramatic didn't they?

3) What I wouldn't give for a time machine, a tactical nuclear device, a shovel and the blueprints to the Nuremberg stadium.
