Donster
Got a PC here that I reformated. Lottie's office bought new PC's, and she got one of the old ones for free. P4 1300 256MB Ram, 20 GB HD, ATi Rage Fury vid card, onboard sound. Good surfin' and word processiing PC. Anywho...after reformating and reinstalling the Windows 2000 Pro version, (Used the systems recovery disc to save time. (Its an HP Vectra) On boot up, I get the option to either boot to Dos or 2000 Pro. I looked in the system BIOs for a setting to get it to boot straight to Windows, but not found one. Is this normal for 2000? And if not, how do I get it to boot direct to Windows? Donnie
Stag
Don, go to Control panel\system\Advanced\Startup and recovery. Select the option you want from the options in the dropdown box.
