neddie seagoon 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2009 Very cool! Great find Whiz. Just note that it's from 67 not 69. Dan had the lead in this race with 2 laps to go when a universal joint let go. This race was 2 weeks after his victory at Spa, had he won here, Firestone would have kept their sponsorship and he'd have been in the running in 68. All the cars were unrealiable though. Only reason Brabham won the Championship was his was the most relaible car, nowhere near the fastest. Oh well, to finish first you must first finish. And 8:22 at the 'ring... In my dreams. I'd give my eye teeth to have the 5-foot wide poster he gave me of the '67 Ferrari.
