No, it is not. Sorry to hear that you are suffering and I hope you feel better soon. We are getting ready to leave for our vacation, so...

"Prepare CSim... prepare CSim for a vacation! Fasten all seat belts, seal all entrances and exits, close all shops in the mall! Cancel the three ring circus! Secure all animals in the zoo..."

Mrs. Stans interrupts, "Shut and get packed, already!"

Afternoon.

Very sorry to hear about your pain, Donnie :( I hope you get relief from it soon.

Weird weather day here: warm, but cold. It really is warm and cold at the same time ... if that's possible. You can stand in one spot and be warm, move twenty feet and you'll be in a cold patch of air, but no wind. Spooky.

Danke guys. Frickin' weather has got me messed up. I can't believe I didn't fall asleep while posting the Front Page News.

Glad your daughter will be up and around in no time Jay.

Not a good week for health news.

A good friend of mine, his mother had a stroke over the weekend.

A young lady that works at Lottie's place of employment got a phone call on Friday afternoon that her father had drowned that mornng. He was a retired police officer down in Florida, and he and some other church members took a group of handicapped children fishing. While on board the boat one of the kids some how fell into the water. Her father jumped in and rescued the kid, but didn't make it himself. They got him out of the lake and did CPR, and rushed him to the hospital. But he was under for to long I guess, because there was no brain activity. After all her siblings arrived at the hospital, they took him off the life support.

Now I am waiting for the third bad thing to happen this week. :(

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my wifes mother died yesterday morning, so that completes the trio, I guess. She was 94, and in Hospital with pneumonia for two weeks. Her heart finally quit. She only spoke Spanish, but was the most gentle, sweet mom-in-law you could ask for. So I'm batching it for a couple of days while the family closes ranks and share memories of her. Memorial Service on Friday, where I've asked to say a few words of my memories of her. I'll miss Maria. God bless you, lady. Vaya con Dios.

Thanks so much, guys. It was actually a merciful release, as she was on Oxygen and she looked so helpless and nothing like her real sweet self that my wife said she was glad to see her go to a far better place. At times like this, you realize how much it means to be a believer.
