Stans
Some exciting racing and a few hair raising moments at Lowe's Motor Speedway last night. Sorry to see Denny Hamlin have another DNF, this time his engine dropped a valve. He's back in 11th overall and any hope of a championship are gone. I see Junior broke a transmission, rumor is there is friction between Junior and Hendrick, Junior may be on his way out. Mark Martin clings to the second place spot and that's where he will finish for a fifth time, if he can hang on. Jimmy Johnson set a NASCAR record with five chase wins in a row. I think he is going to set another record, one for having four championships in a row. Y'all have a great day, off to church. Oh, RDF Yep, another day of overcast, mist, rain, and abnormally cold weather.
JClark
Dale is the definition of snake bit. He settled down a hell of a lot this year, really focusing on what it takes to win in todays version of NASCAR. He just never got over the transition to the COT and the way it "handles". I personally would NOT like to be the son of a racing legend, forever having to live up to his dads legacy and legend. He really is a damn good driver, and has the skills. It's the mental part of the racing he isn't getting his head wrapped around yet. Jimmy Johnson is a pure racing machine, and that is NOT good for the sport. NASCAR fans want someone with a personality to win races like a Dale Jarret, a Kevin Harvick or a Tony Stewart. They really don't care for someone with the personality of an avocado. Dumbest thing the sport ever did was get away from the old car. If anything besides the economy is keeping people out of the stands it's that damn COT. Oh, I guess TARP and the stimulus plan bailed them out along with GM and Chrysler. As for Jimmy Johnson, yeah, he'll never be given a prize for personality. He's about as dry as they come. COT? I like the safety features of the COT, but that's about it.

Donster
Packers 26 Detoilet 0, and it wasn't even that close. But the Lions' loss wasn't nearly as lopsided as it could have been, thanks in large part to continued breakdowns and penalties by the Packers' offensive line. Rodgers was sacked five times, and Green Bay lost left tackle Chad Clifton to an injury in the third quarter; he appeared to hurt the same right ankle that caused him to miss the previous two games. The lowly Lions lost their 19th straight game in the state of Wisconsin -- including last year's painful season finale at Lambeau Field that sealed their dubious place in league history at 0-16. Stans
Yeah, I'm now sitting here watching New England utterly destroy Tennessee and it's only the first half. Update, not even half way through the third quarter CBS pulled the plug on covering the slaughter at New England. Yeah, it was that much of a slaughter. Madman
I'm less than 20 miles from the stadium so that same white stuff that fell there all day was coming down here as well.
