Patriots will have turf advantage?

What Shawn said.

Plus the fact they're doing this indicates to me that the Pats may be a little worried. Don't think Manning's record got to them some do ya?

;)

I'm still sticking to my prediction that the Colts'll win though, slop or no slop.

Yeah Moss is the new TO. Or TO is the old Moss. Or something like that. And some athletes wonder why people hate them ya know? I mean $10,000 would let me move, pay for my expenses for the year and help pay off some bills I have like my car payment and whatnot. Hell I could rent a 3 bedroom townhouse in Tucson with a killer view for a year for that amount of cash and still have money left over for beer. It's just ridiculous, both the behavior and the "justification" for the behavior.

On a lighter note, there's PA Reservists from Iraq that just got rotated out, they got a late Christmas present...Steelers invited them to the game tommorow, on them. We're talking several thousand of them.

And Ben Roethlisberger is donating his entire paycheck tommorow to the tsunami relief thingmie. Hell he gave his entire signing bonus to charity when they drafted him. Randy Moss he ain't.

Yeah, I like that guy. He's confident but not cocky, and he loves to win but isn't a jerk about it. Funny thing was the League almost slapped him with a fine too a while back about what he had written on his shoes. But he didn't fight, just took it off and wrote it on the inside of them.

Very cool guy, watching him get interviewed is funny because he's so damn good but he doesn't realise the level he's at really. I mean he thinks it's just natural he can come in as a Rookie and do what he does. Plus the first words out of his mouth when he's asked how the game went he says,"The team played great. I did okay and think I learned some from it." He even singles out what guards and tackles made what blocks and all. That's a rare guy there.

Boy's got presence in the pocket to. Feels the rush pretty well for a rookie. Reminds me of some of the older QBs like Montana and Marino. You almost have him for the sack, he steps up or moves away, makes his final read and the ball is gone. Scary thing about the kid is that he's just as good on the perimeter as he is in the pocket. Kid's got talent.

He actually likes passing from outside or on the move better than being in the pocket, and he definately feels the rush coming. Joe Montana is his big idol, but hey Joe's a Pittsburgh boy too. So's Marino for that matter. Yeah yeah Ben's from Ohio but not from the Cleveland part so it's close enough. ;)

Gonna be interesting to see how good he is with about 3 years experience under his belt, Manning may find out how Marino felt this year a heck of a lot sooner than Dan did if he keeps this up.

He loves the no huddle too and says he feels more comfortable in the shotgun, so I wouldn't be surprised if next year the Steelers don't run the gun more. They ain't ever going to be a West Coast Offense team (or a 4-3 Defense one for that matter) but I definately see them opening up the passing a little. With the rush attack they have that just makes it doubly confusing on defenses.

Yeah, but the backs they have don't lend themselves that well to the shotgun offense. You need a Shaun Alexander or a Corey Dillon. 'Fraid the Steelers have locked themselves into that pro-style run first offense for the forseeable future. He's just gots to get better at that 7-step drop.
