Donster
Morning. No new snow. Clear skies. 19F and temps falling throughout the day. -6F overnight. Cat goes to Vet again at 3. Had a better day yesterday, but not a good night again. I got hit with what I am self-diagnosing as Vertigo. If I turn my head to the right quickly or try to get up out of a chair, or worse, bed, the room tumbles over and over. Have fallen twice since Christmas day. Feel ok otherwise. Think I might have an inner ear infection. Going to try to see Doc today or tomorrow. I can't drive, as I don't trust myself right now with this imbalance (yeah I know, Donnie your are always imbalanced).

The Dude
Morning, Sympathies about your cat's illness, Donnie ... but that vertigo thing you have ... that's gotta be no fun at all I hope you get to see the doc today about that. Clear skies and -14C at the moment. Going to warm up to -2C today if all goes according to plan.
mane_raptor
Morning All.... Gonna get hit with a bit of snow this afternoon and going into tomorrow. Right now their sayin' 4-8" (which will replace what was melted by the rain and warm temps last two days), with blowing and drifting over the next 2-3 days until we get hit again over the weekend. Ok, Christmas is over, and I ain't heard tell of no songs that mentioning a "White New Year's Day", so there's just no friggin' need of it. Donnie, sorry to hear of your illness. But since you're tumble-ly and such, take advantage. Drink heavily, that way when you stumble, you can blame your inner ear and not the booze. Donster
Just got back from the Doctor. Diagnosed with Benign Paroxysmal Posteral Vertigo. Treatment is basically some physical therapy. Probably start next week if this continues. Bad thing about it is that I can't drive! Snickers (the cat) goes to the Vet today at 3.
Madman
Hang in there Donnie! Hopefully you and Snickers are back to your usual ornery selves in no time.

Stans
I heard they try to hold you up, but their efforts are in vain.
The Dude
Donnie, Here's an idea ... sort of a variation on Mane's suggestion: Get legless drunk and maybe it'll counteract the vertigo so you'll walk without stumbling. It's just crazy enough to work! Seriously, tho, get better soon!
