No105_Archie
There are not a whole lot of WW2 vets left and I imagine only a handful of WW1 vets. The youngest WW2 vet I know is 88 !
cobraj
My old man is 82 going to be 83.. He was going to be a tail gunner on a b-17 or b-29 near the end of the war. When his crew landed in Hawaii getting ready to be deployed to where ever they were going to go, Truman dropped the bomb...War over for my dad.. So, I would say the youngest WWII vets will be about 82, but average 85+ so they are getting rare!
