Donster
Made it to the hospital for Donna Wray's eye surgery. Have already taken her back to prep her. She gets a series of eye drops before they do the actual operation, which takes only 20 minutes! Amazing what they can do now. Should be on our way home by 9:30. The Dude
Amazing what they can do now. Truly Cold, raining, overcast ... generally crappy. Most of the rest of the country is still having record warm weather. <sigh> And it's Monday. Blech

Donster
Left the hospital at exactly 9:30. Got Donna Wray back home and into her recliner to take it easy for the day. Operation went just fine. She's doing fine too. Just has to wear a patch before she goes to sleep, not rub her eye, stay out of the dust and wind. Wear sunglasses for a week when outside. Other than that, no other restrictions. Just take her eye drops as prescribed. Told her I am just next door, pick up the phone and call me for anything she may want or need. Stans
I remember when cataract surgery meant four or five days in the hospital, then an eye patch had to be worn 24 hours a day for about a month. Now it's in by 7:30 and out by 10... AM!
