Donster
Morning all. Received 2 inches of rain starting late yesterday morning though 5am this morning. Muggy and 81F today with chance of showers. Hope Earl leaves the US and Canada alone. Neither country needs the expense of a massive cleanup and infrastructure repair right now. TCat
Hurricane Earl is nudging closer and closer to the coast of North Carolina and Virginia. Sure hope it turns north real soon. I do not like hurricanes at all. Especially a Cat 4 Stans, prayers are seriously in order. Katrina was a Cat 3 when she struck here and the destruction was too much to comprehend! I hope she turns NE!
Stans
At this time, hurricane Earl is expected to slowly continue to turn to the north, pass about 100 miles east of Cape Hatteras, NC, then parallel the coast, so it may be a wet and windy weekend for the east coast. Tropical storm Fiona is expected to turn north and stay well out to sea. Tropical storm Gaston is taking a dangerously southern route, but it's way to early to tell where it will be headed.
