Wombat1940 0
In a word: no. Its not for me . I can see the fascination for others, but its definitely not my thing. Thanks guys.
Gunny 6
Sorry you feel that way man. No it's not for everybody. But at least you gave it a try and that says a lot. What was it you didn't like if I might ask?

What was it you didn't like if I might ask? Thank Gunny. I'm just not into fighting and killing things. Sounds stupid because I fly flight sims but never see the virtual damage I cause. If I did maybe I wouldn't fly them. That's why I like Myst style games. Maybe they need to introduce a Nurse Category for me, so I could go round at patch up all the the wounded ....... for all races.

Home Fries 8
Given the increased kinship activity in LOTRO over the past week, I hereby resurrect this thread forthwith. BTW, my Warden (Hammerwulf) is now level 46 (almost 47) and I just need to complete the final chapter of book 5 before I really start to feel like a badass. That said, I want to get to Moria sooner than later, and I'm willing to skip some epic chapters in order to get my legendary weapon. I know I need to quest in Eregion to get to Moria, but are there any prerequisites to starting the Volume II quests?
Gunny 6
I'm believing there are. However don't ask me what they were. The best way to find out is to take off for the Valley of Giants in the Trollshaws. The way to Eregion is through there. Or, if you have time, I can log on here in a few mikes and either escort you through or "guide" you down there. :edit: Matter of fact, I'll log on now for a few. Gotta get the kids in a bit, but I got time to meet up and get you there.

Gunny 6
Sorry I missed you, Gunny. Was finishing some work before my playtime. No worries bro. Wasn't planning on getting back on then anyway. Finished a rep quest down south so it all worked out.
Home Fries 8
finally made it through book 5. Now to Eregion. I'm about halfway through my first legendary traits as well, so I just need to find about 4 more pages per book.

Home Fries 8
Thanks, Red. Funny you should mention crafting; I'm in desperate need of a polished adamant so that I can complete my artisan tailor quest. Unfortunately, my tinker alt is still level 15, and he gets wiped out whenever he has tried to do his expert jeweler quest. edit: the character in need is Hammerwulf. Red 0
My jeweler has a bucket load ill shoot you some tomorrow after work
Home Fries 8
Thanks for the hook-up, Red. Hammerwulf is now an Artisan Tailor. Now I would just like some fellowship while attempting to get my Legendary Weapon at level 47. Anyone up for Moria Book I?
Home Fries 8
Ok, just got my legendary Javelin. Now back to the regularly scheduled Angmar epic quests...

Home Fries 8
Ive got a 60 ranger and 60 Warden that can ride shotgun if you like , or a 53 Captain Sounds like fun! Hunters and wardens complement each other well.

Home Fries 8
Thanks, Red. I just got the legendary Javelin of the Third Age last night, so I'm good to go in the ranged department. For melee, I'm using the following: Elnaith Bind on Acquire Spear 53 - 88 Ancient Dwarf-make Damage 37.1 DPS Spear-pierce:10 Common Damage every 5 seconds for 15 seconds +54 in-Combat Power Regen +15 Might +45 Maximum Morale +12 Agility +15 Vitality Durability 80 / 80 Normal Worth 9 I'm level 48 now, so if you can craft better than this one, I would be much obliged. That also reminds me that I need to craft a better shield for my warden now.
Home Fries 8
On an unrelated note, have you guys considered starting a CoN blog here on CombatSim?
Red 0
Smooth_Black_Ash_Spear_of_Combat Polished_Black_Ash_Javelin_of_Menace How about them ??
Home Fries 8
How about them ?? LOL! I got my legendary spear last night, so I'm GTG on all things for issuing hate and discontent. Thanks for the shipment, though. I will donate the weps to the kinship storage.
Home Fries 8
I just reforged my legendary spear of the third age and renamed it Hastas Contempte Tristitaque My nephew informs me that this is the proper Latin translation for "Spear of Hate and Discontent". This is a fine complement to my legendary javelin, aka "Hammerwulf's Boom-Stick".
Red 0
When you hit 50 let me know i can scrounge up some Blue armour if you like
