The Dude
Well, there's a new rule in the demolition code book: All power lines within the circular area described as the "danger zone" surrounding the structure to be demolished shall be removed or disconnected from their power source. The danger zone is the circular area around the structure with a radius 1.5 times the height of the structure. Failure to abide by these rules will result in endless mocking and humiliation on YouTube.

Stans
Don't know, voltage would depend upon the area served by those lines.
Stag
I'm guessing that particular demolition company has a vacancy for an explosives technician. That could have been VERY bad!
The Dude
Don't know, voltage would depend upon the area served by those lines. Those look like regular single-phase power lines carrying 7.5kv to 15kv (7,500 to 15,000 volts). Now, had they been 3-phase power lines on a ring network, then the explosions would've been a tad louder.
