The message on my office answering machine is very specific about hours of operation and how my patients can call me in an emergency. I'm not 411. Another chance of show tonight. 24F with 11F wind chill. Temps to slowly drop throughout the day. So we are already as warm as we are going to get today. My accountant was here on Wednesday; she was sniffling and coughing, and I used her pen to sign a a bunch of documents for my corporate tax returns. So in addition to getting all that awesome news of how much I owe the world, she gives me a virus. Joy. Oh, and it's -30C/-22F without the windchill. Gonna feel like -40C/F if the wind picks up. It's cold, it's not too cold, so we get a freezing rain and snow mix. I can't remember the countdown but I'm fixin' to go to Punxy to shoot that frickin' rat! In Canada they are required to provide emergency dental services and every city has a number to call for that service. I needed to use them once on a weekend and the dentist I called said she couldn't do it at that time and to go see her Monday. She broke the law when she denied me emergency service but I never pursued the matter and went to a different dentist that Monday. An abscessed tooth can be life threatening and a few years ago a boy in the USA died because his mother didn't have the means to pay so they refused to treat him.
