Easy, the forum have a URL linkie: link.png That button gives you a nice GUI.

If not, you got the code for it:

[url="http://google.com"]Google power![/url]

Where the URL is first, and the text you want after that, this is mostly common across ALL forum software.

It will look like this though.

Google power!

Sorry ..... I'm a bit slow ..... GUI? .... code? .... URL? ..... the process? :blink:

URL = The link in www.something.com format

GUI = Guided User Interface (meaning it is nice graphics that tell you how and why :P as opposed to CLI which is Command Line Interface which is not so user friendly :D)

Look for the little button I showed you up there when you post, it is the key to making that or copy the code I posted :P

Should be easy to reverse engineer to your purpose.

There's a quicker way, and you don't need to use the entire URL. you can see at the URL of this thread, where it says:

http://community.combatsim.com/topic/25998-link-redirection/

In bold is the topic number. All you need to do is the following:

[topic=25998]Go to this thread[/topic]

and you will see:

Go to this thread

instead of

[topic=?????]name[/topic]
use
[post=?????]name[/post]
The post code can be found in a normal link to your post: (click on the post number in the top right corner of each post-rectangle) combatsim,com/topic/25998-link-redirection/page__view__findpost__p__5122480 then grab the post number from the end, and paste it like this
[post=5122480]blabla[/post]
