mane_raptor
Mornin'...... Cool, crisp, clear, no wind, and it's time for flannel-lined blue jeans, least-wise this early in the AM. Still getting some yellow jacket carcasses on the deck. I plan on sealing the hole in the siding, but for now I'll wait a bit, 'cause the dead ones are now attracting these really big yellow faced wasps (these ain't no small yellow jacket) that are feeding on those same dead ones. Not too many of them, and they are not aggressive, but BIG. Killed one with my hammer yesterday. Had to hit him twice, first time just stunned him, second got him good; right in the middle. I checked this morning and both thirds are still there and each is the size of my thumbnail. Oh and Stans; In this digital age, it's now: IO, IO, It's off to disk I go. Get with the times, man! The big wasps sound like European hornets. They might not seem aggressive when alone, but don't get near their nest. Oh, and I am with the times and I'll give you the time just as soon as I rewind my pocket watch.
