Not that we can do much to change it, but I really think this is a fact. Makes me sound like one of those "End-of-the-World" nuts, but how else to explain the above post? I don't think they sit around in dark rooms with evil grins on their faces, but I can believe closed Boardrooms where the big decisions are made, especially after the Lehman Bros.debacle. There are two rumors floating around about why Obama really put the brakes on the Keystone Pipeline. Put on your tinfoil hats. 1. He made a back room deal with Canadian prime minister, Steven Harper. Put the pipeline on hold until after the November elections. This would placate the eco-wacko's, get Obama reelected, then he'll turn around and approve the pipeline. Seeing as how Obama is anti-petroleum, anti-coal, anti-nuclear, I don't see this as being the most logical of conspiracies. 2. He made a back room deal with China. Don't know what they would exchange for Canada's oil sands, but knowing how Obama thinks, maybe massive reelection campaign contributions? Obama has already said he needs a one billion dollar war chest for his reelection bid. One BILLION dollars? He's not a popular president, who is going to contribute that much money?
