Yes, it is cold, cloudy and damp, but I just got an e-mail from a cousin who is in Iraq with the US Army 3rd Infantry Div, Mechanised. He is doing well and says things are going well over there and we are being fed only the worst by the media. It was really good to hear from him and really set the tone for my day. Shepherd Posted March 12, 2005 Report Share Posted March 12, 2005 Oh it is a beautiful day, clear skies nice spring like temp. Oh it is a wonderful day to go motorcycle riding. Starp on the old biker boots, helment and ride through the magestic Blue Ridge mountains. Stopping along the way and buying some apples from the orchird and then stopping over by the Ocoee Olympic rafting course and just taking in nature. Then a ver slow, relaxed ride home where there wiould be a nice thick stake waiting for me to eat as I watch the end of the Busch race. Stans Posted March 12, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2005 I was out by 00:00, up at 04:30 courtesy of one of the cats, napped until 07:12. I have become fairly comfortable getting by on five to six hours of sleep, so sleeping seven hours is a really long sleep for me now. I'm sure it will come back to haunt me in a few years.
