Stans
What? Could be about 20 of them. Well, technically speaking, they are not new, but it is believed about 20 them, still in their shipping crates, are buried somewhere in Burma (Myanmar). http://www.bbc.co.uk...litics-17710598
Stans
And already an updated story. Evidently the aircraft have been found, will be excavated and shipped back to England. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/defence/9203822/Spitfires-buried-in-Burma-during-war-to-be-returned-to-UK.html
The Dude
That's unbelievable news. There is, no doubt, much rejoicing around the world amongst all ranks of aircraft enthusiasts. This story will be on the front cover of every aircraft magazine for years to come. Looking forward to a BBC documentary about the search, retrieval, restoration, and first flights of one or more of "The Twenty"

Whizkid
Hopefully the two can get their heads together and reach an amicable understanding where Cundall is part of a team that are DEDICATED to bringing home and restoring these Spits, instead of it finishing up in a Court case as to who they belong to. Unfortunately, given the penchant of the wealthy to want it all, I think the farmer will be left looking on as his discovery is hijacked. Poor bugger.
