SF2 Mission Editor

I get around 20FPS when things get hairy, but a healthy 60FPS when things are calm. Do you think my system could handle it?

Sure, though you may want to turn down some of the effects to medium. North Atlantic may choke your system over Iceland, but otherwise you should be OK. Biggest bottleneck is probably the videocard, but it's only a brute force issue, which is why I recommended cutting back on effects.

Again, just keep your old install EXE just in case you don't like the patch.

If you're using the TMF Tomcat, it uses high resolution cockpit textures (in BMP, no less) that will choke an older video card. I get that on my laptop. The 3W Tomcat cockpit is much more forgiving (although not quite as nice).
