Stans
Lance Armstrong, who for the past few years has fought charges of doping, is no longer going to fight the charges. He has not admitted to doping, he still insists that he did not use performance enhancing drugs, but is tired of the endless legal battles over the allegation of doping. He will likely lose his Tour de France titles. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/C/CYC_ARMSTRONG_DOPING?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-08-23-23-18-
Donster
He has never failed a drug test given him by the governing bodies of the various racing associations. Yet they still keep coming after him even after loosing in court many times. He has had enough. They are financially breaking him, so he is giving up the fight, but still maintains his innocence. These bastards sound much like our current American Administration and various Government Agencies. Hound you and destroy your life, even if you're innocent. Stans
I think that's basically the story. No evidence, just hearsay and speculation and the French are pissed that an American won their crown jewel of bicycling with 7 consecutive wins. No105_Archie
Farking bastages !! .....how could he possibly be better than the superior Europeans........therefore he must be cheating ...The cycle racing aristocrats will then do anything to "prove" that. It's like in the early 60s the Euro rally aristocrats could not understand how Mini Coopers could possibly be beating the "superior" cars from France and Germany so they did evryting to try to prove that the Minis were "cheating" finally in 1966 ..after the minis took first second and third place in thge Monto Carlo rally...the Euros decided that the Mini headlamps did not dim in the right way ( they were left hand drive ) so therfore the Mnis were "cheating" and were disqualified....the French then 'won' the rally championship This stuff is BIG business in Europe and the "powers that be" don't like to be embarrased
