Stans
I never thought about it, but back then everyone cooked with lard. I wonder how much lard is still at the bottom of the oceans? Maybe mayor Doomberg... errrr... Bloomberg should get on this and ban anymore lard from surfacing?
No105_Archie
You would think that lard, being fat, would float ??
Stans
Yeah, but if it is sealed inside a steel drum, the weight of the drum might be sufficient to keep it anchored... until the drum rusts away. Another possibility is the lard being trapped beneath a deck, then storm currents create enough turbulence to move the lard around and it finds a hole in the deck and heads for the surface.
