Stans
Morning y'all, 32F and expecting clear skies and 49F today. No more snow, the various weather shamans seem to agree that this was winter's last hooray, at least for central Virginia.
Donster
Morning all. Freezing fog and 6F. Another quiet day is likely across the area with highs generally into the lower and middle 30s. Winds will also remain very light with partly to mostly sunny sky. Our next storm system is still set to move into our area after midnight Friday night through Sunday. At this time, the system still looks like a rain producer, with one inch or more of rainfall likely on Saturday alone. As the snow melts rapidly on top of that, we will likely see rises on creeks and streams. The system has sped up a bit, leading to a mix potential late on Sunday, with mainly dry weather now on Monday. With mainly rainfall this weekend and melting snow, we need to watch for fog as well. Temperatures look to rebound back to normal (40s), by next week.

Donster
I have never heard of Stompin' Tom Connors. But I don't follow country music. That could be why. Reading the article, it seems he was well thought of and kind of like a Yankee Johnny Cash. Prayers for Tom's family. May he Rest in Peace.
