Already hit our high temp for the day.Winter made a comeback last night... 55 degree temp change in just a few hours. The next 24 hours will be very interesting. Rain is likely today, occasionally mixing in with snow over the western half of the area. Snowfall accumulations will likely be minor, but enough to cover grassy areas from Waterloo and points towards the west. For most of the area, accumulations will not occur, due to the mixed nature of the precipitation and warm ground. It'll be a soaker though, as more moisture comes north tonight through at least Saturday with 2-3" of rainfall likely for the area. Northwest Iowa into Minnesota could receive up to a foot of snow, with some counties already receiving 7-9 inches overnight. I want my Global Warming!!!
