28F under fair skies with 16F wind chill. The temperature free-fall begins today. A strong cold front will pass through late in the morning to around the noon hour, turning winds around to the northwest and becoming gusty. Temperatures will drop into the teens for the afternoon. Scattered areas of snow are possible, with the best chance of minor accumulations under two inches. Light snow in the south will end tonight, with temperatures everywhere falling below zero.

Sunday will be near zero with wind chills in the -20s. Dangerously cold weather takes hold Sunday night with lows of -20 to -25 and wind chills of -40 to -50. Highs on Monday will be -10 to -15, keeping wind chills in the -40s.

Lottie driving home today from Pennsylvania. Was to leave yesterday, but they received 8 inches of snow on Thursday night/Friday morning. Will stay in Toledo, Ohio tonight. Then head home Sunday into the deep freeze.
