31F with 20F wind chill. Sidewalks and driveways, along with less traveled streets are covered with a thin layer of ice. Fog and drizzle have left, and even some of the clouds are going to be leaving, too. Plan on skies to at least partially clear during the morning hours. Another batch of clouds will probably swing across the north during the afternoon. Regardless, temperatures should be in the upper 20s to around 30 today. Lows tonight will dip into the teens, so untreated roads will probably ice over again after today's sunshine helps melt it during the day.

Spent 4 hours at the hospital ER yesterday evening. Lottie hurt her back, couldn't walk. Had to have Fire and Ambulance to come get her and take to hospital. They gave her IV muscle relaxer and pain killer, took x-rays. All they could see was severe arthritis in her spine. Will have to follow up with family Doctor Monday or Tuesday. Then I bet she will need an MRI to really tell if a disc has slipped.
