Overcast and 12F with -1F wind chill. The clouds will gradually move in starting around midnight with lows in the low single digits. Light snow will begin early Saturday morning and continue on and off through much of the day. Totals across much of the area will range from 2-4”. With gusty winds, blowing and drifting snow will be likely. Highs for Saturday will reach the mid to upper 20’s with upper 30’s.

No snow here and the possibility of light snow tonight and tomorrow morning has been removed from the forecast. 33F under mostly clear skies, the sun is low on the horizon, but shining brightly and rises a bit higher in the sky every day, giving the promise of warmer weather and spring. Looking for clear skies today and a high of only 39F, a bit below our normal high, but at least it is a believable forecast. Winds? A bit windy today, the forecast calls for 11 to 17 mph winds out of the west, so it is going to be a very chilly day.

Our esteemed Governor Moonbeam has just declared a State of Emergency for California, as we are in a severe drought. Locally, we haven't seen rain for over five months, and our carefully tended bushes, etc, are looking very sad. And the National Weather Centre doesn't see any rain here until possibly April! The wildfires are going to be bad, this year. Time to get on our knees, I'm thinking.
