Donster
Shirley Temple, the child actress who became one of the most popular movie stars of the 1930s, delighting Depression-era moviegoers, has died in California at the age of 85. RIP Shirley. I remember when Richard Nixon appointed you as a member of the U.S. delegation to the United Nations General Assembly. In the 1970s, she was U.S. ambassador to Ghana and later U.S. chief of protocol. True to the USA.

Whizkid
Some things just hurt, don't they? And remind you of your own mortality. RIP, Shirley, and as cobraj says, she was a class act. I don't think I'll feel the same when Madonna passes on!
