Tuesday frozen weather report

Morning y'all, yet another day of sleet and freezing rain. It's currently 30F and freezing drizzle, everything is covered in ice. Expecting freezing rain and sleet to continue through the morning, then temperatures should... hopefully... rise above freezing, but will peak at 36F. Yesterday's high was only 31F, which set a new record low for a high temperature for St. Patrick's day. Somebody want to tell me again about global warming? The last six months' weather in the U.S. has been the coldest since 1912.

Me thinks there is somebody asleep at the switch Stans. The Bastard!

31F under fair skies with a 23F wind chill. Winds will remain rather gusty out of the south today. Even with the sun going in and out of clouds most of the day, highs will still be able to reach into the lower 50s from Cedar Rapids southward. Plan on any rain showers to hold off until the evening. As cold air filters in tonight, any rain is likely to go to light snow, but accumulations look to remain very light - under a half inch if that.

This constant weather 'teasing' is like going into a "College for Strippers and Pole Dancers" and not even being able to cop a feel. crying-1-1.gif
