Donster
Fair skies and 28F. Plan on more dry weather today, with gusty southwest winds developing. Highs should briefly touch 70 for many of us. The overall fire risk is very high today due to the combination of low relative humidity, ongoing drought, dry grasses and brush, and gusty southwest winds. A Red Flag Warning is out, and burning should be avoided today. Lottie's surgery went very well yesterday. They were late getting her to the OR by about 20 minutes. 2 hour scheduled surgery. I got paged in an hour and 10 minutes to go to consultation room with the Surgeon. Was worried that he had to stop due to more damage than first believed. And would have had to replace the entire shoulder joint. But was happy to hear that it went as well as planned. He did find 2 tears in the tendon and some muscle, a bone spur, a lot of inflammation, which he put in cortisone, and arthritis of the socket bone, when he was able to shave down and smooth out. She recovered from anesthesia very quickly, better than she ever has and they let us go home and 4:30. Thanks for all the Get Wells and Prayers guys! Appreciated very much!
